It's a beautiful building. In Texas there are a lot of small towns with beautiful historic hotels - I love photographing them. I stayed at El Paisano in Marfa, TX a while back - lovely place with such character. Cheers, Susan
Wonderful, - there is a hotel of the same style and vintage just a few miles away in Okanagan Falls, B.C. - and we just lost our century and a quarter hotel here in Keremeos about a week ago, to fire. Everyone mourns it and the memories it contained.

What a wonderful building. For a young country America sure is steeped in History!

What a great old building! I always wonder about the great history old walls like these contain!

except for its exterior color, this looks like it was taken right out of an old western movie!
ReplyDeleteI used historic as my word, but not hotel. :)
I love historic buildings, because of the atmosphere of the past, which you miss in a modern building.

Lovely historic home.
ReplyDeleteWhy I LOVE those 2nd story porches I can't say. But I DO. In New Orleans, different design but same outcome.
