Well, I know Keatings Lagoon in Cooktown, Queensland, Australia. It's a conservationpark. Your lagoon is excellent! Thanks for this nice post! Wil, ABCW Team.
I know the music By A Sleepy Lagoon (used as an intro by a radio show called Desert Island Discs), and although Venice is very beautiful I don't think it is as languid as that music. I do have a local lagoon called Hodbarrow and you've made me think I've never used it as part of ABC Wednesday,
oh yes, that sleepy lagoon. It makes me think of sitting on a railed fence at the lake with an old boyfriend while the band played A Sleepy Lagoon, - nostalgia....
Beautifully captured!

ReplyDeleteOh perhaps the old movie The Blue Lagoon with Brooke Shields.
Perfect choice for the letter L.
We've got a Laguna Beach in California. Would that do?
