Y is for yarn. At the lamb festival in Dixon, a suburb of Sacramento we saw people spinning yarn. The festival also featuring shearing lamb, checking the wool, and lots of yarn for sale.
A posting dear to my heart, being both a spinner and a weaver and very attached to yarn of all kinds - silk, linen wool - would love to have been at the festival, although I know I would be sorely tempted to add some of that lovely wool to my stash....

I wished I could spin yarn out of my long haired cat, she must have been a sheep in her former life !
